Advertising Sales
We are looking for “Rock Star” advertising salespeople. This position is for someone who does well with both outside sales appointments and can sell via telephone. We have strong products in a great market. We will train the right person because our program is easy to learn. If you understand the importance of commitment you can be successful here. You will be required to present a sales presentation to management as skills testing.
Customer Service/Inside Sales
We are looking for a Customer Service pro. Must have sales and service experience, great telephone presence, flexible schedule, be proficient with Excel, Quickbooks and the Internet. Position follows up with incoming sales calls, with classified advertising, online advertising, circulations sales and legal advertising clients to verify orders and information, and offers general customer service to advertising clients. Testing for this position will be required.
Web Advertising Sales
We are seeking a sales representative to focus on sales for our many websites. If you have a strong sales background and are "net savvy" this could be a great part-time position for you.
Social Media Coordinator
We are seeking a sharp social media pro to help coordinate our online efforts on a daily basis. The right candidate would already possess solid knowledge of social media and customer service. You must be able to work in a fast-paced news environment and be a total team player. Testing for the position will be required. This is a part-time evening position.
Graphic Artist-Layout
Support person needed to assist with graphics and layout. Must be proficient in various programs including Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. Design ads and perform layout duties at MPG offices. Newspaper or magazine publishing preferred. Steady schedule in a fast-paced news media environment. Testing for this position will be required.
Editorial
Ever wanted to write for your local newspaper? We are looking for people who would love to cover events and issues in your home town. Contracted/payment per each submitted story. If you have strong writing skills you could earn this extra income.
Delivery
Home delivery and single copy/newsststand routes available in most of our delivery areas.
